I’ve had it in my heart recently to do a better job of extending an opportunity that could easily be overlooked. Recently Mike and I have been really reflecting on the business that was presented to me over two years ago when we had just taken on a new mortgage payment that was eating us alive.
Although we strove to live within our means, it always felt like we were struggling to keep afloat. The credit cards couldn’t seem to get paid off and the bills kept coming.
Fast forward two years and I am retired from the classroom- by choice. A choice that has come after a lot of prayer, work, and effort. It was not an easy choice. I mean, really? Who leaves an incredible position as a full time teacher with an incredible pension and benefit?. A big part of leaving was because we couldn’t afford to stay. I am seeing my team grow, and I know that they are going to be doing some amazing things in the coming year. My organization is growing everyday. Knockout coaches are from around the country, and we are able to communicate daily through the wonders of easy-to use social medial!
I never intended to create a full time income working only a few hours a week. It happened because I was given tools, simple tools, to create an a stable, lasting business. There were bumps, hiccups, and, dare I add, a failure or two along the way, but everything I learned, I duplicated. I created the same opportunity for my coaches. Now they are succeeding, financially and physically. It’s super rewarding to play a role in their success.
So what is this coaching thing all about?
My core mission is to develop systems to enhance new coaches growth pattern and decrease frustration and fear. If we as the leaders of the company step up, put our heads together and focus on who needs help we truly can change the face of health and fitness forever.
