Hammer and Chisel: Week 3 Progress

Here I Go AGAIN!

hammer and chisel, hammer and chisel results, hammer and chisel transformationsWeek 3 is a wrap and goodness these results are really starting to show.  I can feel myself getting stronger, and where once I would get discouraged if the scale wasn’t moving, I am now realizing my muscles are popping… and the numbers just don’t mean as much!

With a program like this, I realize that the results show first by the fit of clothing.  You begin to see definition, but pounds don’t necessarily melt off.  It doesn’t work like that.

So breaking up with the scale has been so important! I am not measuring my progress by pounds. Instead I am focusing on my strength, muscle tone, and fit of clothing! I can’t believe how different I feel in the first 3 weeks!

My Three Week Hammer and Chisel Transformation!

Here’s a Little Sneak Peek of a Favorite! Make sure you have your volume on! I included a little message!

I want to talk about soreness for a minute! After all I’m lifting pretty heavy!
beaxhbody performance line, beachbody supplements, energize beachbody, pre workout supplements
Before I head to bed I can feel my muscles start to tighten and start thinking that I am going to wake up and have to crawl down the stairs, but I’ve gotta tell you, I use the Beachbody Performance Pre Workout Energize 15 minutes before workout, then during my workout is the Hydrate, Post workout I drink the Recovery followed by my Shakeology for breakfast, then the Refresh is the night time Recharge formula and that is what helps me not feel nearly as sore the next day.

This week, I actually ran out of ALL of my supplements! I am definitely pretty sore, and I noticed that my morning workout didn’t have that extra umph!  When I workout at 5 am, I really need that extra go juice!

Estimated date of arrival?  Tomorrow!

Mind on the Meal

In my last blog post I talked about my meal plan! I am following plan B to lose weight first before I build muscle! The meal plan has been really easy to follow.  Aside from a few holiday temptations, I have been able to stay on track.  I will be bloggins some of these recipes this week, but here is one of our favorites!

BUTTERNUT SQUASH RECIPE!

Dinner is Served:  Hammer and Chisel Style!

I’ve noticed however that I do need to make sure that I am getting enough water.  I notice when I do not get at least 60 ounces of water in a day because I get a killer headache!

And What About Week 3 Meal Plan!
Let me start by saying this is a holiday week.  Under usual circumstances I would stick to the plan 100% but I do plan on indulging in a couple of my holiday treats!

But here are a some of my top tips to staying on track this holiday!
