21Day Fix Testimonial: Week Two Progress Update

Writing to you from the chilliness of Pittsburgh to tell you that my results are starting to HEAT UP!  Week two of the 21 Day Fix is complete and I am really starting to feel results take shape!

Tightening and toning.  Check!
Increased strength in the weight work.  Check!
Overall cravings.  Kicked!
Four Pounds.  Dropped!

Here’s the deal, when you start the 21 Day Fix, it’s very possible with the workouts that you will be hungry!

Hunger Strikes!

Fix Extreme Recipe: A red and a green

The best way to stave off the hunger is to increase your water intake.  During my second week I made a daily effort really make sure I was getting at least 60 ounces of water a day.  It’s so easy sometimes to forget! So this week I carried a water bottle around with me, and made my husband remind me to continue to drink!

When I did drink at least 60 ounces of water throughout the day, I noticed it cut my cravings too!  There are tons of options too for spicing up your water!

Try adding cucumbers, fruit, fresh mint, lemons.  You can also check out sparking waters if you are cutting out the coffee!

Also, play around with new recipes! The 21 Day Fix Extreme has quite a few recipes to keep you satisfied!  You can also search Pinterest for tons of ideas to keep you on track and satisfied!  This week I tried one new recipes.

Beef and Squash Stew:  Coming this Week!

In a Nutshell:

  • My workouts are improving. I’ve added weights to the training.  I am using 8-10 pounds for most moves.  I use more for leg workouts.
  • My ab muscles are starting to pop!
  • I am down 4 pounds.  Although this wasn’t my goal, the result of the hard work and dedication is there!
  • I am addicted to weekend warrior workouts with my husband Mike.  I really feel that working out together connects us on a deeper level.  BUT more about that later!

Check out our moves!

As I Enter Week Three:
I am also entering the Woman of the Year Campaign.  It’s a 10 Week Fundraising Campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.   I will be attending the kick off party this Thursday night, so other than a glass of wine,  I don’t think that much temptation should stand in my way!

Mike and I decided together to complete 3 days of the Countdown to Competition Guide (see meal plan below).

I anticipate being able to stay focused on the results that I have seen so far!  I am so looking forward to sharing my transformation and giving you HOPE to achieve the same results!

Here is my meal plan for the week!
