I am getting ready to head home after a long weekend in Destin, Florida. I miss my boys like crazy, but having the opportunity to spend time with my personally sponsored team leaders and treat them to a four day retreat in a beautiful mansion was an absolute honor.
Our Destin Retreat Home for the Long Weekend!
This weekend consisted of top coach trainings, relaxation, photo shoots, and surrounding ourselves other like minded women within our network. Our career as coaches usually means that we are working and networking behind the computer screen. As coaches we create virtual challenge groups to help women and men achieve their health and fitness goals. But when the opportunity presents itself, we love to get together, and just enjoy the company of one another.
Here’s what our week looked like. On Wednesday we flew into Destin, Fl and had an opportunity to check out the amazing city, hang by the pool, and enjoy a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant! I had my first taste of gumbo and it was delicious!
Layover in Atlanta before Landing in Destin!
We woke up Thursday and got into our houses! Our house was a beautiful mansion perfect for 25 team members of legacy united and The Knockout Brigade. We quickly decorated and prepared for the Friday arrival of our coaches!
It’s a Rough Day in the Office!
Friday was filled with lots of conversation, and of course photo shoots throughout the day! Our leaders also had the opportunity to talk with Cim Carver, a corporate trainer, who traveled to see us for the occasion! It was an amazing training and the exact fuel the leaders needed to bring to their teams! We also had an amazing time at a huge Beach Olympics event. I might add that I crushed the three-legged race!
Getting the Girls Ready for Their Closeup
On Saturday we spent the morning in training and the afternoon beachside with cool beverages and lots of friendly conversation. It was just an overall amazing opportunity to see my coaches and gift them this amazing opportunity.

Bonfire on the Beach!
Our retreat ended Sunday with an amazing morning workout, a leadership training, and sunshine. Before parting, we had a bonfire on the beach!
It’s still so incredible to believe how much my life has changed in the last couple years. One time I was at the grocery story. I believe it was a Thursday after school. I remember because Thursday meant I was one day closer to the weekend and dude… I really loved the weekend….
I was at the grocery story and I needed some milk. So I ran to daycare, picked up Nick (who was 2 at the time), and swung into the store for milk. As I was checking out the man at the register said, “insufficient funds..”
Embarrassed, I frantically looked for a credit card to pay for the milk. And I walked out of that store, angry, and frustrated…
I remember asking myself, “How does anyone ever get ahead…”
You see that time in my life I was about 20 pounds heavier. I couldn’t afford a gym membership. Our mortgage and the PMI were KILLING us, and at the end of the day.. I had no energy to play with Nick…
You see why I loved the weekends? Sound familiar?
I changed because I didn’t want that to be how my story went.
I bought a workout program. I pushed play. I bought vegetables instead of tv dinners. I invested in myself and learned how to make my change a lifestyle.
And then I started to teach people how to do the same.
——>—->Friends, my story is what I hear so often from others. But the story is yours to write.
——>—->I invite you to a a one day event where I will be sharing the specific tools I use to mentor my new coaches, and how I created a full time income with limited time, and the team opportunities that make our team unique.
I am not in the classroom anymore… Today my classroom is Destin, Fl… Poolside.. Mentoring others how to achieve results.
