Speaking at Dream Team Live
That, I think is the best word I can think of to describe Coach Summit 2015.
I tell my coaches all the time to create YOUR own Summit experience. I tell my coaches that they have to experience it in their own way.
This blog post is my take away.
This blog post is my own experience.
I have struggled with the words to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the company. I am blown away by what we stand for and how over and over again we prove to stand by our mission.
To help people achieve healthy and fulfilling lives.
It starts with ONE.
You have to believe, completely that every one matters.
Every sweat matters.
Every story matters.
It was an honor and a pleasure to speak twice at . I this year's summit. I spoke at the Dream Team Live: Recipe for Success Event as well as a Summit Workshop Presenter: Leveraging the Power of your Story.
So what exactly is Coach Summit?
Summit is the yearly event held held by Team Beachbody to help the network of coaches (nearly 300,00) grow their business and feel empowered by the mission.
At the event coaches:

Mike and I also receive the Exclusive Elite Invitation! We attended the Core where we received a top notch Elite Coach gift. A guitar- so Nashville, right? And a beautiful poster!

Hanging with Autumn Calabrese!
Later that evening we arrived at the Country Music Hall of Fame where we listened to the music Striking Match and ate way too many amazing appetizers. Who knew grits could taste soooo good!!! We also had a chance to meet the celebrity trainers, including Shaun T, Sagi, and Autumn Calabrese! Tony Horton and Chalene Johnson were there as well!
We ended the night celebrating my coach's birthday at a local bar with more music, laughter, and celebration. And what do you know, Autumn showed up for the party as well!

After the event, I decided to unwind by heading out with a few of my coaches to a workout with Sagi. He did NOT hold back. It was intense! We were drenched in sweat, and smiling because every second was awesome!
We ended the evening at the Kickoff Celebration held at LP Field! We had the chance to hear about the new products being released as well as what Beachbody has in store for the coming months!
The new line of products include:
In December we will release Hammer and Chisel, the newest workout with trainers Autumn Calabrese and Sagi Kalev.
They also spent time recognizing the hard work of so many coaches. We had the honor of watching Success Club Legends walk across the stage as well as coaches who have achieved high levels of rank in their business.
I was personally awarded the Success Club 5 Legend Award and the Nine Star Diamond Award.
Coaches attended a number of LIVE workout options early in the morning. We then attended general session- hearing from the Top Coaches in the organization! Chalene Johnson also graced the stage as well as motivational speaker and author, Simon Sinek!
That evening we also attended two award parties: Success Stars and Stripes as well as the Star Diamond Reception! I had the privilege of attending both events with quite a few of the coaches in my organization!
The Stars and Stripes party was held right outside of Music City Hall and there was an amazing concert with the band, Low Cash! We had a great time listening and dancing to the music!
After the first party, we headed over to Broadway for another party. We were greeted with lots of cold beverages and appetizers! Not to mention the celebrity trainers came out to join us for the party! When we left we joined the rest of the team on Broadway to chat and mingle about their summit experiences!
Saturday Super Workout on Broadway!
Our last day started with the Super Workout, the largest workout in history that took up much of Broadway. Each one of the trainers put their own spin on the workout and everyone left drenched in sweat and ready to take on the rest of SUMMIT!
The Closing Session was simply incredible! As an Elite Coach I had the opportunity to walk across stage. But that doesn't come close to the amazing feeling you get hearing the testimonials of the Beachbody Challenge Finalists! Their results are simply inspiring!
As I sat in my chair listening to the stories, Jon Congdon, Co-Founder and President of Beachbody, began speaking of someone who battled cancer and started a movement. I realized...
Jon was speaking about me.
That evening, I was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year Award, an honor I was shocked to receive. An honor that I see not as something I won, but something my team did with me. It was a team effort to raise $70,000 for cancer research.
As I stood there- I realized. I am the result of the ripple effect. Making the small, seemingly insignificant choices day after day has allowed me to give freely to others.
It's crazy how one small choice can impact your life.
I know that signing as a coach was a choice I made to help others get healthy. Because I believed in the products.
I still do believe in the products, but it's so much more. This company and our mission is changing me as a person.
I know the team that I am creating is one filled with lots of heart and hustle. It's filled with moms, teachers, nurses, fitness experts, dads, writers, speakers, dancers. But everyone of has a hand in changing the lives of others.
It starts with one.
Thank you Knockout Brigade for allowing me to lead first from the trenches.
Thank you to Beachbody for reminding me that I am enough, reminding me that ONE story matters.
My Coach Taylor who is just so good with words said:
"I just sat down on the couch & had a .... What in the world did i just experience? Moment....
& it hit me.
We didn't think we did enough. We felt like we couldn't have done a fingernail more, but we still didn't feel like it mattered....
& then beachbody told us other wise.
Guys.... Surround yourself with people and organizations and thoughts and books and music and nature and ANYTHING that will make you feel like you matter.
Do. Not. Ever. Stop.
I know this, because I've experienced it....
....if you keep fighting the fight after it looks like you've lost the battle.
You will win the war."
I couldn't say it better.
I will continue to be the light.
Will you join me?
