Honey Nut Chicken Bake

I absolutely love playing around with recipes and cleaning them up! I love cheesy chicken because it's a little sweet and crisp. However it tends to be a little greasy and doesn't always agree with my tummy.
I decided to play around with the recipe and try two of my favorite things:  pecans and honey.

It was delicious! Check it out.

2 eggs
1/2 cup honey

1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup of oats
salt and pepper to taste
6 chicken breasts halved

  1. Preheat oven to 375 
  2. In a bowl beat eggs and honey until well blended
  3. In a separate bowl,  mix pecs, oats and salt and pepper 
  4. Dip chicken in egg and honey mixture.  Then coat in the oat mixture. 
  5. Cook in over 40 minutes, turning once or until chicken is no longer pink. 

Enjoy with your favorite vegetable medley!
